  Swellable Casing Packer uses hydraulic expansion type structure, mainly be used in the complex wells'(oil,gas,water) completion project, to achieve downhole packer and bridging and in favor of improvement of the quality of completion. The practice proved that this tool have characters of easy operation,wide adaptability, it has a very important position in the completion project.

Swellable Casing Packer mainly consists f of e valve m system t joint  assembly, rubber  barrel, central  tube ,casing  sub. The valve system s is d divided o into  axial valve m system d and l radial e valve  system. Radial e valve m system s is d composed of a a  set of  three valve.
 

In the construction process, the replace plug will touch off the breaking stick which is sealed in the intake hole when the replace pluge through the valve joint of the packer. The replace pluge will make the casing form seal when it move to the spoiler(we also can use the pitch or blind plate and pipe string process structures make casing form seal, for these process pipe string structure without plug through so we should take off the breaking stick in advance), Bie pressre liquid through the valve system fo intake hole into the open valve system of  intake hole into the open valve. when the pressure to achieve set valve, the pin on the ope valve is snapped. open valve open, and at the same time, single valve is opened, the fluid through limiting valve into the expansion cavity between center pipe and rubber cylinder, make packer inflation and wall close contact form seal.

 

When the pressure of the expansion cavity reach the value of limiting valve's pin pressure, pin shear, liemeitng valve closed and will make intake hole sealing, the caing pressure valve have no influence on the pressure is zero, open valve automatic locking, realize premanent closed,(see chart 3)after the downhole pressure operation dose noe affect the packer fate.

In some specaail pipe string process well, also can use the inner pipe tools to a packer, achieve completion purpose(Such as packer direct completion and packer in the screen between the packer and completion method).
