Drill collar is a bar made of solid steel, either common carbon steel or non-magnetic steel alloy. It is used in the drilling of oil wells for weighting drill bit, enabling it to drill through rock. Drill collar is the lowest element of a drill string. Our drill collars are manufactured strictly according to API standard.
Spiral drill collars are designed with a helical groove along their outer surface. This design serves a crucial purpose in reducing the risk of differential sticking,which can occur when the drill string becomes stuck against the wall of the wellbore due to variations in pressure.The spiral grooves create additional clearance between the collar and the wellbore,reducing the surface area in contact with the formation and thus minimizing the likelihood of sticking.Spiral drill collars are particularly useful in deviated or horizontal wells where the trajectory of the wellbore deviates significantly from vertical. In these wells, the risk of differential sticking is higher due to the increased contact between the drill string and the wellbore. The spiral design helps ensure smoother operations in such challenging drilling environments.

8. Inspection&Test: When producing, traceability are maintained from the receipt of raw material to completion of final products, and serial numbers are die-stamped on each workpiece body. During each manufacturing process, inspection and test are performed.
