Washover pipe is used in fishing operations to go over the outside of tubing or drill pipe stuck in the hole because of cuttings, mud, and so forth, that have collected in the annulus. It is sometimes called washpipe.
Washover pipe is a necessary tool in washover operation which can relieve all kinds of sticking in the well. The function are rotating washover, flush the sand and salt, hot wash to solve stuck, etc.
