Product Description

 

Gas sand anchor designed for effective separation of associated gas and solids in the pumping well operation. The anchor provides an effective job with the gas factor of 200-250 m3/m3 and quantity of sand to 30 g / l produced fluid. The anchor is set up directly under the pump. The lower end of the anchor must be attached 2-3 pipe tubing plugged lower end to the accumulation of separated solids. In the operation of the anchor is maintenance free.

Working Principle:
Fluid contained in the annulus flows upwards through the passage between the casing and tubing. After reaching the intake screen, the fluid flows through the wire wrapped filter where the flow direction is reversed.

Then, the fluid flows in the annular space between the inner surface of tubing and outer surface of the inlet outlet fitting, which is wound around with a descending spiral protruding into the sand separation outlet. When the fluid flows along the descending helical path, sand separates from the fluid onto the spiral and then is deposited in sand collector. Thereafter, the flow direction is reversed again and the fluid flows upwards in the bore of the inlet-outlet fitting.
