Casing Slips are made up of body segments of the same sizes linked up by Hinge Pins.Adding or reducing body segments and changing button inserts according to the specification can suit different sizes of casings pipes.The buttion inserts can be used in both Casing Slips and Drilling Collar Slips.Eight different kinds of button inserts will satisify all needs.
Rotary slips are calssified as tye short(SDS),Medium (SDML)and Extra Long(SDXL) according to griping length. SDS slips are designed for shallow hole drilling,SDML slips are the perfect choice for all medium depth drilling,SDXL slips are designed for deep drilling SDS, SDML and SDXL Rotary Slips are for use in API standard insert bowls. The buttress design of the body segments provides great strength while minimizing weight for ease of handling.. Each slip is load tested to its rated capacity before shipment and will come with full documentation including material certifications, proof load test certification, magnetic particle inspection and operating and service manual.
