Product Description

 Releasable Slip Overshot is the most effective tool through fishing outer diameter of pipe, used for catch the fish with smooth external diameter. The sizes of the overshot are designed in accordance with the O.D of drill collar, drill pipe, oil tube as well as collars of them and have formed a complete series for fishing. According to different application, it may be equipped with some accessories, such as extension sub, wall hook, oversize guide ,etc.Due to its complete function, compact structure, it is safe and reliable in use. Its sealing structure may effect high-pressure mud circulation after a fish is gripped. If the gripped fish was stuck, it could be released easily. The overshot comes with a wide range of available accessories and has been proven to be the most versatile and reliable in the field.

Overshots (basket grapple) are the industry standard for external catch fishing tools. With a proven track record and the highest quality construction and design, the MDX Overshot is the efficient and cost effective tool for Fishing companies all over the world. A Basket Grapple is an expandable cylinder with a tapered exterior to conform to the helically tapered section in the
Bowl. Its interior is wickered for engagement with the fish. Two types of Basket Grapple are available to meet the need for catching various types of fish.

  Features:The Basket Grapple with Long Catch Stop has an internal shoulder located at the upper end, to stop the fish in the best catch position. It is designed to stop and catch collars and tool joints, with sufficient length left below the Grapple to allow the joint to be packed-off with a Basket Control Packer. The Basket Grapple with Short Catch Stop (not shown) has a double set of wickers of two different internal diameters. It is used to stop and catch a coupling with a ruptured piece of pipe engaged in its upper end. The upper set of wickers will catch the ruptured pipe and act as a stop against the coupling, while the lower set of wickers will catch the coupling.
