Cup packer is a kind of self-sealing packer , which relies mainly on the interference contact between cup and casing to make annular space between tubing and casing .Since the cup packer itself has no slip , so it has a good safety and high reliability.Moreover ,there is no damage to the casing pipe

 

 

How to set ?
Its main compoents are self-sealing rubber , which is a kind of self-sealing element .This kind of sealing elements has the feature of self-sealing , and holding pressure in one direction and good friction resisiting . The kind of sealing element has a little skirt and a metal frame inside.The self-sealing element OD is a little bigger than the casing ID . 
1.No anchor structure and can be used in horizontal, shallow and deviated wells, without restricted for.
2.The cup can be installed on two side (maintain the pressure from two directions)also can be the same side (up or down) so that it can be
assembled and disassembled easily
3.The cup packer set and unset without other power equipment, moving string or pressure.ltcould set and seal the casing and tubing annulus just with the string. Save time and expenses.
4.The steel structure of the cup packer could improve the resistance of pressure.
